Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is a technique that involves slow, deep pressure into specific parts of the body, which enables the fascia to release. This type of massage can allow for increased mobility and a decrease in pain.


Swedish Massage

Developed in Sweden in the 1800's, this technique is often referred to as general relaxation. This is a basic, full-body massage with involves massage movements towards the heart that are designed to relieve muscle tension and improve circulation.

Gua Sha Technique: Release of fascia via instrument-assisted massage

Gua sha is an ancient healing technique used by many clinicians of Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Massage oil is applied to the skin of the area to be treated. A smooth-edged instrument is used to apply short or long strokes on the skin, typically in the area of pain or on the back parallel to the spine.  This stroking motion creates raised redness (petechiae) or bruising (ecchymosis). Petechiae will show up where scar tissue, adhesion, or stagnation reside in the soft tissue. Learn More about Gua Sha


Trigger Point

This technique involves an understanding or belief that there are points of the body that radiate pain to other parts of the body (even when the point is distant from the focal point of the pain). The therapist will apply pressure to these points in order to relieve this muscular spasm, which assists in decreasing the pain that radiates to the other parts of the body.

Gua Sha Face Massage

In this treatment we will focus on the face, neck, shoulders, arms, hands and feet. This treatment is a good balance between relaxation and focus work for troubling areas.  .     Hot towels and pure essential oils will be used to help ease tension and encourage wellbeing.
